Valiant House is an organization that provides transitional housing in Northern California.
Our mission is to provide supportive shared housing in a sober living environment to unhoused women and children, veterans, young adults aging out of foster care, and other marginalized groups experiencing housing insecurity.
We serve chronic, temporary, and formerly displaced and unhoused individuals. This includes those recovering from addiction, seeking re-entry assistance, and those fleeing domestic violence situations and experiencing housing insecurities.
Our staff can provide feedback to individuals on their resumes and job searches. We also make referrals to partner agencies that provide training and development to help guests with their needs.
You can live there indefinitely as long as your rent is paid on time, and you comply with the house rules.
All guests are on a month-to-month contract.
Yes, guests are subject to a curfew along with additional rules that you can read about in our House Rules.
Yes, guests are provided access to a washing machine and a dryer.
There is a $300 non-refundable deposit prior to entry.
We do not offer refunds. If you are unable to follow the rules and are asked to leave, you will not be reimbursed for any fees or charges paid. This does not include prepayments that you or your family make in advance.
Review our house rules. These are the most important aspect of what life looks like at Valiant House. If you can adhere to the house rules, complete an application, and a member of our team will be in touch to set up an interview.
